The Healing Arts Experience

The Healing Arts Experience (HAE)

formerly known as Wounded. Not Broken

The Healing Arts Experience is not just a show—it’s a soul-level encounter. Blending the variety of an open mic, the arc of a narrative, and the depth of therapeutic intention, HAE creates a space where artistry and emotional healing intersect. This is a space for intentional artists—those with something to say about the human condition, resilience, pain, or purpose—to share their work in a container that honors their truth.

HAE is as much for the audience as it is for the artist. Through storytelling, poetry, movement, and music, both performer and listener are invited into a journey of reflection and connection. It’s not about performance for applause—it’s about expression that moves, liberates, and transforms.

While ticketed to ensure artists and logistics are supported, the Healing Arts Experience is not a commercial product—it’s a healing offering. Rooted in the original series Wounded. Not Broken, HAE continues the mission of creating a safe, transformative space for stories that need to be seen, heard, and felt.

Below, you’ll find a reflection from a past attendee—who have witnessed and been moved by this experience.

"I went to your show a couple of years back that dealt with childhood trauma, domestic abuse, etc., and you had different people perform pieces about their life experiences.  I came in support of my voice client CA who sang for the event. Firstly, I have got to say how impressed I was with the event. What an amazing experience, and an awesome outlet for folks to share in their experiences and help to engage others on their journey of healing and freedom.  Thanks for creating the space for that! I was so moved and encouraged."
